Poll Results: Do You Enjoy Buying, Developing Or Selling More?

This past Monday I posted a poll titled: “Do You Enjoy Buying, Developing Or Selling More?” The results surprised me a bit, because I didn’t realize how many domainers out there enjoyed buying domains more than developing and selling them. Buying domains was by far the most popular selection. A total of 14 votes were placed for buying domains.

Selling domains ended up receiving a total of 6 votes. Initially when I posted this poll I thought that selling domains would of come out on top, but it looks like the domain investors that did participate in this poll tend to enjoy buying domains as much as I do!

Developing domains received a total of 7 votes. This is right where I would of expected it to be. We’ve all had our challenges with developing our domains, whether we are spending the time to work on them ourselves or we outsource the work to a 3rd party. As with anything, domain development takes time and is not something that can be rushed.

Last but not least, I enjoy all three equally received 4 votes. It’s great to see that there are those of us out there that enjoy buying, developing and selling. These individuals are domain masters! (I figured this would be the perfect time to plug a great radio show hosted by Victor Pitts.) As I would of guessed, the none of the above option didn’t receive any votes at all.

There were a total of 31 votes placed in this poll. This was a decent number to really get some insight into the minds of other domain investors. Like I’ve mentioned previously, I enjoy buying domains the most but I am pushing myself closer to enjoying developing and selling more. In the next few months I would like to take a look back at this poll and say that if I were to participate in it again my vote would be for enjoying all three equally!
